In ANAPLASI, we endorse the medico-social model of rehabilitation services. We believe that rehabilitation, beyond its clinical dimension, involves an equally important social dimension, insofar as occupational-professional rehabilitation ensures involvement in the means of securing the requisites of daily, family, and cultural life.
We therefore consider it self-evident that individuals with permanent or temporary physical disabilities have the right to participate in cultural life.
That’s why:
–We bring drama, music, painting, and photography to our patients both within ANAPLASI and with interactive events, in collaboration with leading cultural organizations and renowned artists.
–We encourage painting, sculpting, music, helping our patients engage in their favorite creative hobbies or developing new ones, both in and outside Anaplasi.
–We share concerts, theatrical performances, visits to museums, libraries, and art exhibitions, and other cultural events outside ANAPLASI with our patients, the ultimate goal being their social reintegration.
