At ANAPLASI, we know that the patient with multiple medical conditions needs a range of medical specialists for their successful rehabilitation.
Our staff of expert medical practitioners is on hand to support all stages of your Rehabilitation Program. Our medical permanent staff include:
- A physiatrist, also called a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist, is the coordinator of the Rehabilitation Team. The physiatrist assesses and organises the treatment plan of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, psycho-cognitive disorders, and chronic pain, as a result of disease or injury to the Central Nervous System and/or other Systems.
- A chest physician (Pulmonologist) – Intensivist: assesses the functional status of the respiratory system and intervenes in the rehabilitation program according to the patient’s needs.
- A general physician: treats medical conditions not requiring specialist care and coordinates with other medical specialists.
We can also call on our visiting medical specialists, who collaborate with us and participate in the Trans-Disciplinary Rehabilitation Team where appropriate.
Our Affiliated Specialists include:
Orthopedic surgeon, Otolaryngologist, Internist, Urologist, Neurosurgeon, Oncologist, Rheumatologist, Cardiologist, Endocrinologist, Gastroenterologist, Psychiatrist, Dermatologist, Ophthalmologist, Dentist, Anesthetist, Gynecologist, and General Surgeon.
We value collaboration with our patients’ treating physicians.
