Occasioned by the traditional Easter excursions, the staff of ANAPLASI Recovery and Rehabilitation Center and the charity The HELLENIC BRAIN AND SPINE FOUNDATION, with love and humor, remind us and advise us on what we should and should not do before we start our road journeys. “We do not want you as our patients,” they point out in their elegant brochure they distributed at central locations in the prefecture of Attica.
The aim of this social intervention is the prevention of road traffic accidents, which, as they emphasize, is the best medicine!
Unfortunately, almost all of us know about the unpleasant or even tragic experiences of people who suffered due to road traffic accidents. Some of them, thanks to the medical and therapeutic services of the ANAPLASI Medical Rehabilitation Center, have managed to reintegrate into their family, professional, and social lives.
These types of accidents can be avoided by following the advice below.
Before you start:
- Check the general condition of your car.
- Fasten your seat belts.
- Place children in the back seat or a special child seat, always with a seat belt.
- Wear your helmet when riding a motorcycle.
When you drive:
- Do not exceed speed limits.
- Don’t make dangerous overtaking moves.
- Keep safe distances.
- Do not consume alcohol.
With the wishes for “A Safe Journey, Happy Easter and a Safe Return”, this brochure is available on the ANAPLASI website www.anaplasi-rehab.gr, and anyone can print it and/or share it electronically with their friends.
